Welcome to the KA2EMZ Website
Thanks for stopping by! Here you can listen to the latest ham radio news, view some QSL cards I have from over the years, read about a very special Lady named Jeri
and much more!

Radio has always been a passion of mine. From a very young age where my favorite radio stations were WNEW and WABC in New York, (and later WOWO in Ft. Wayne, Indiana at night of course!) it really morphed into something special; in 1974 I received a Radio Shack Patrolman 10 shortwave radio for Christmas.....in 1979 I took it a step further getting my ham license. Imagine going from listening to remote places on the radio to actually speaking to those countries!
From that 1 shortwave radio, my radio shack now consists of several radios (Kenwood TS430S, Icom 718 and Icom 75); a state of the art computer system- I use the computer for digital modes such as RTTY and PSK31, and now learning about JT65A. But someplace in all the modern radios I still love CW (morse code)! I worked the DXpedition to Saint Maarten on 30 meter CW last week - 50 watts into a long wire.
I have included a page showing my ham radio QSL cards - I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did getting them!
